InTerior design photoshoot at an 18th century manor house, hampshire
Neatham Manor in Alton, Hampshire dates back to the 18th Century and was bought from the Austen Estate after sitting empty for 30 years.
THE BRIEF: Shaun & Luciana of Luxuria Developments & Luciana Parker Design, bought this dilapidated Manor House to be their forever family home, after 20+ years of moving and developing. Perhaps this was their biggest project yet! They wanted their home documented to market their property for Location Shoots and to ensure its history, atmosphere and clever design elements were captured throughout the house and gardens.
THE SHOOT: Spending a full day at the property with mixed weather conditions, I roamed throughout the extensive gardens which include an Oast Poolhouse & kidney bean shaped swimming pool, rose gardens and a Moat. With far reaching views over the surrounding countryside from both the upper floors of the house and the gardens, it was important to place this impressive home in all its glory. The interiors, full of nooks and crannies and sumptuously designed and decorated to feel homely and inviting with wood panelling, large fireplaces, floral wallpapers and period colour drenched receptions. Perhaps the most incredible feature is the Well inside the Kitchen, previously outside the old dairy, and now a flourishing natural Terrarium with a skylight above it encouraging Flora to grow within the 30 ft glass covered drop.
